Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong conducted a fan meeting yesterday at Jamsil Indoor Stadium entitled "2012 Kim Hyun Joong Fan Meeting in Seoul" and it was attended by almost 6000 fans all over the world.It was a fanmeet that was been planned by HyunJoong himself.He sang songs from his albums Breakdown and Lucky and interacted with the fans too. Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong kicked off the Lunar New Year in true celebrity fashion—with his fans.

Kim drew out a crowd of 6,000 fans to the 2012 Kim Hyun Joong Fan Meeting in Seoul event, which was held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul on January 21.

Fans crowded the stadium to see the singer, and as if to confirm Kim’s star status, the fan meeting kicked off with a flashy laser show that would spark the feverish energy that carried on throughout the night.

Kim then took to the stage with performances of Let Me Go and Breakdown from his first mini album before sitting down with the event’s MC Park Seul Gi to talk about his plans for 2012.

The singer also offered his advice to three fans using a book of solutions during the ‘Kim Hyun Joong, the Problem Solver’ segment of the fan meeting. One lucky fan was even invited onstage to be serenaded by Kim in an entertaining performance that drew laughs from the audience.

Kim’s two pet dogs even made a surprise appearance at the fan meeting, where they impressed fans with a few tricks they picked up at obedience school

The singer then performed hit songs Kiss Kiss, Lucky Guy, One More Time and I’m Your Man for the crowd of cheering fans.

He expressed his gratitude towards the fans who came out to the event despite it being a holiday before taking a commemorative photo with the 6,000 attendees.

“I will be a Kim Hyun Joong who repays you all with more than what you all have given me,” said Kim. He also shared his resolution for the New Year, saying “I will do my best to show a better image [of myself] whether it’s on stage or through a project” before taking a deep bow.

Kim will take off for Japan on January 22 for the January 25 release of his debut single album.
